(Baonghean.vn) - The bomb is located at the edge of the Khuon River in Hamlet 6 - Thinh Son Commune - Do Luong, 5m from the foot of Bai Tac Bridge. The bomb is 1.5m long and 0.45m in diameter.
On April 3, Mr. Nguyen Canh Dong in hamlet 6, Thinh Son commune, Do Luong district, while fishing, discovered a bomb left over from the war.

Mr. Dong immediately reported to the local authorities. Mr. Nguyen Hong Tien - Commander of the Military Command of Thinh Son Commune said that immediately after hearing the news, the Military Command of the Commune immediately went to the scene and sent a team of 5 people to stand guard.

"The Commune Military Command has reported to the Do Luong District Military Command to have a plan to destroy the bomb. According to the assessment of the Do Luong District Military Command, this bomb was dropped during the war between 1968 and 1969," said Mr. Nguyen Hong Tien - Commander of the Thinh Son Commune Military Command.
The bomb is expected to be removed and destroyed on the morning of April 5, 2019..
