(Baonghean.vn) - Dien Chau District People's Council held a meeting to elect additional positions of Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee and Member of the District People's Committee.

On the morning of April 8, the 19th People's Council of Dien Chau district held the 9th session for the 2016-2021 term.The meeting approved the proposal to dismiss and elect additional positions of Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee and Member of the District People's Committee.

Specifically, the meeting elected comrade Le Manh Hien, Head of the Finance and Planning Department, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Chau district, term XIX, 2016-2021. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Khoa - Head of the Department of Internal Affairs was elected to the position of Member of the District People's Committee.

The meeting also dismissed the position of District People's Committee Member for comrade Phan Van Hung - Head of Economic - Infrastructure Department, who was appointed to participate in the Party Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Party Secretary of Dien Nguyen commune.

On this occasion, the People's Council of Dien Chau district also approved 3 reports of the People's Committee of the district on the proposal to approve the Project to recognize Dien Chau Town as a Type V Urban Area; Supplementing and adjusting the planning and land use plan until 2020; Proposing to allocate additional capital construction plans and adjust the investment plan for 2019; Verification report of the Standing Committee of the District People's Council on the contents at the meeting.
