Nghe An officially regulates clean water consumption prices in rural areas
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued regulations on the price of clean water consumption in rural areas of concentrated rural water supply works in the province.
Accordingly, in Decision No. 10/2019/QD-UBND dated March 29, 2019, it is stipulated that: The price of clean water consumption of self-flowing water supply works at the water supply works of Lang Nhung, Khe Bo (Tam Quang commune), Cay Me (Thach Giam commune), Ban Mon (Thach Giam commune), Tam Thai commune of Tuong Duong district and the water supply work of Chi Khe commune (Con Cuong district) is 2,500 VND/m3This price includes VAT and forest environmental protection service fee (52 VND/m3) and does not include environmental protection fees for domestic wastewater as prescribed.

The price of clean water consumption of pump-driven water works supplied at the water supply works of Nghia Dong commune (Tan Ky district); Minh Hop, Tam Hop, Nghia Xuan communes (Quy Hop district) is 6,500 VND/m3.
This price includes VAT, forest environmental protection service fee (52 VND/m).3) and fixed asset depreciation cost is 500 VND/m3, not including environmental protection fee for domestic wastewater as prescribed.
The price of clean water consumption of pump-driven water supply works provided at water works of Bao Thanh, Dong Thanh, Hong Thanh, Hop Thanh, Nhan Thanh, Tho Thanh, Son Thanh communes (Yen Thanh district); Quynh Doi, Quynh Thanh, Quynh Thach communes (Quynh Luu district); Dien Thai, Dien Dong, Dien Nguyen communes (Dien Chau district); Nghi Lam commune (Nghi Loc district); concentrated clean water supply works of Hung Thang, Hung Phuc, Hung Tan, Long Thanh, Dien Yen managed by the Center for clean water and rural environmental sanitation is 7,000 VND/m3.
This price includes VAT, forest environmental protection service fee (52 VND/m).3) and fixed asset depreciation cost is 1,000 VND/m3, not including environmental protection fee for domestic wastewater as prescribed.

The input raw water cost is included in the consumption price of clean water products for projects using raw water from irrigation works at 900 VND/m3.
The decision takes effect from April 10, 2019.

In addition, Decision No. 09/2019/QD-UBND dated March 29, 2019 also stipulates the price of clean water consumption in urban areas produced and supplied by Thai Hoa Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Dien Chau Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Quynh Luu Water Supply Joint Stock Company, and Yen Thanh Town Water Plant Management Board in Nghe An province. The price is specifically regulated for the following subjects: water for domestic use for households (including collective housing, students in concentrated dormitories, workers renting houses to live); Water for domestic use for administrative agencies, hospitals, schools, armed forces, security (not for production and business); Water for material production activities; Water for service business activities.
