Anonymous hacker threatens revenge for Assange's arrest
(Baonghean.vn) - Anonymous hackers threaten revenge against British authorities for the decision to arrest WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
The statement posted on the Anonews portal read: "Free Mr. Assange - or you will pay the price."
The statement noted that the WikiLeaks founder has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize every year since 2010, and his case has attracted international media attention.

"He was loved by people around the world, especially those smart enough to see through the propaganda that justified the foreign policy of the United States and its allies," the statement said.
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that the arrest of the Wikileaks founder goes against the idea of media freedom, and expressed his hope that Mr. Assange's legitimate rights will be respected.
