Highlights of the art program "Guiding Light"
(Baonghean.vn) - The program brings to the audience valuable and profound stories and documentary footage about the ideological value of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, as well as the determination of the people of the whole country in fulfilling his wishes.
On the evening of April 12, at Kim Lien Relic Site, Nam Dan District, an art program took place to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2019) and the 50th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969-2019) with the theme "Guiding Light".
Attending the ceremony at Nghe An bridge, on the side of Ho Chi Minh City, there were comrades: Tran Luu Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; To Thi Bich Chau - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Truong Thi Anh - Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council; and leaders of departments, branches and sectors.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

The television program "Guiding Light" was coordinated by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - People's Committee with the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee at two locations: Kim Lien Relic Site, Nghe An Province and Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ho Chi Minh City.

The program consists of 3 main parts: Part 1 with the theme "Aspiration for Independence - Unification", Part 2 - "Faith in the Party", Part 3 - "Firmly following Him".
With unique and impressive content, the program brought to the audience valuable and profound stories and documentary footage about the ideological value of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, as well as the determination of the people of the whole country in fulfilling his wishes.

At the art night, delegates and audiences at the two locations also had the opportunity to interact and chat with special guests. Highlighting the great values of Uncle Ho's Testament, Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao - senior expert, former member of the Central Theoretical Council said: "The historical Testament was written by Uncle Ho on May 10, 1965. This is a document that crystallizes all of Ho Chi Minh's wisdom, soul, ideology and morality. The Testament is truly a theoretical work on building the ruling Party, expressing the great aspiration: Unifying the country".

Recalling the last letter of President Ho Chi Minh sent to the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on July 21, 1969, just over a month before he passed away, Mr. Truong Cong Anh - former Head of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Province shared: "This is a letter Uncle sent to a local Party Committee, but it is also a profound teaching on the work of building and rectifying the whole Party. Uncle once advised "The Party is each of us". Therefore, each cadre and Party member must regularly cultivate, practice, self-criticize and criticize".
