Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital celebrates 10th anniversary
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital continues to synchronously deploy solutions to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment; the goal is to become a high-tech center in the endocrinology specialty of the region.
On April 12, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary (2009 - 2019).
Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Ngoc Khue - Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment, Ministry of Health, Professor, Dr. Thai Hong Quang - President of the Vietnam Diabetes and Endocrinology Association.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Nghe An Department of Health and representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital (formerly Nghe Tinh Endocrinology Station, Nghe An Endocrinology Center) was established on November 14, 1977.
Through 4 stages with different names, in 2009, the Endocrine Hospital was established on the basis of upgrading the Endocrine Center. Over the past 10 years, the Hospital has focused on implementing synchronous solutions, investing in infrastructure, medical equipment as well as training and developing high-quality human resources; creating a strong and comprehensive transformation in both scale and quality, and effectiveness of medical examination and treatment.

Up to now, the hospital has 16 departments, 220 inpatient beds (actually nearly 300 beds). At the same time, many new and advanced techniques have been continuously developed. Thanks to that, the quality and effectiveness of medical examination and treatment have been increasingly improved.
Tin 2017 and 2018, on averageeachFive hospitals admitted, examined and treated 140 outpatients.-150 thousand people,inpatient treatment from 6,000 - 8,000 people/year (bed occupancy rate reaches 137.4%).
Implementing the policy of innovating service style and attitude, the medical examination and treatment process has been improved, shortening the time; creating satisfaction for patients and their families.
At the same time, the hospital always excellently completes the assigned targets in the National Target Program.
With many achievements, on this occasion, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital was awarded the Emulation Flag of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in the career of caring, protecting and improving people's health were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee; Department of Health awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 individuals who have contributed to the development of the hospital in the past 10 years.

Speaking at the congratulatory speech of Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital, comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised and highly appreciated the contributions of generations of cadres, doctors and hospital staff who have excellently completed the task of caring for and improving people's health; and performed well the examination and treatment of endocrine diseases in the province and the region.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that in the coming time, the unit will overcome all difficulties, continue to contribute with the health sector to successfully complete the task of taking care of people's health; train and attract high-quality human resources, upgrade infrastructure, modern medical equipment, strive to become a grade I specialized hospital by 2020 as planned to build and develop the health network of Nghe An province by 2020; contribute with the health sector to build Vinh City into a high-tech medical center of the region; effectively implement the project to improve medical ethics for staff...
Within the framework of the anniversary activities, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital organized the 3rd Open Scientific Conference, taking place on April 12 and 13; with the participation of Professors, Associate Professors, and scientists specializing in endocrinology and cardiology./.
