The requirement is to merge hamlets to increase their size, reduce administrative layers, decrease the number of part-time hamlet officials, and raise their allowances. It is projected that after the merger, Nghia Dan will have 185 hamlets (a reduction of 125 hamlets).
Comrade Phan Tien Hai, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the Nghia Dan District People's Council, stated: The merger of blocks and hamlets is a necessary step in the process of reorganizing the organizational structure to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
In the coming period, the merger will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the feelings and sentiments of the people. Therefore, Nghia Dan district is determined to strengthen propaganda and explanation efforts to help people understand this matter clearly.
"In particular, we need to gather public opinion to achieve the highest level of consensus and unity. Besides that, we must proactively grasp the ideological situation and public opinion among the people. This requires the awareness, responsibility, creativity, and the concerted efforts of the cadres, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups in the district," said the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Nghia Dan District Party Committee.
