(Baonghean.vn) - Despite playing with ten men against visiting team Thanh Hoa, SLNA had a fantastic game in both attack and defense. Three players, evenly distributed across the three lines, made it into the Team of the Week for Round 5 of the V.League 2019.

Goalkeeper: Tuan Manh (Sana Khanh Hoa BVN)

Tuan Manh's solid performance, timely interventions, and spectacular saves contributed significantly to his team securing a point ahead of the match against defending champions Hanoi.

In the final minutes of the match, the goalkeeper from Thanh Hoa made at least three crucial saves, denying clear scoring opportunities from Samson, Oseni, and Hung Dung. This draw also helped Tuan Manh's Sana Khanh Hoa BVN climb to 11th place and escape the relegation zone in the standings.

Defenders: Cong Thanh (Ho Chi Minh City FC), Bui Tien Dung (Viettel), Thiago (QNK Quang Nam), Dinh Hoang (SLNA)

Not only did Bui Tien Dung perform excellently in his position, but he also scored a goal to help Viettel secure a narrow victory against Nam Dinh. Cong Thanh seamlessly transitioned between attack and defense and also scored a goal in Ho Chi Minh City's away win against Binh Duong. Thiago also had a decent game, helping QNK Quang Nam earn a valuable point against SG FC in the relegation battle.

SLNA defender Tran Dinh Hoang had a tireless performance on the right flank for the home team, shutting down Thanh Hoa's attacks and creating numerous dangerous opportunities himself. The only goal of the match between SLNA and Thanh Hoa came from a situation where the number 6 player penetrated the penalty area before being fouled by the opposing defender inside the box, resulting in a penalty kick.

Midfielders: Hoang Duc (Viettel), Khac Ngoc (SLNA)

Hoang Duc, playing as an attacking midfielder in Viettel's match against Nam Dinh, performed excellently. The 21-year-old created dangerous scoring opportunities and delivered many sharp passes to initiate attacks.

Khac Ngoc and Hoang Van Binh helped SLNA maintain stable control of the match despite playing with ten men from quite early on. Khac Ngoc was also the scorer of the only goal in the match, giving SLNA three valuable points in the race to be among the teams competing for the championship.

Forwards: Anh Đức (B.BD), Vinicius (Ho Chi Minh City FC), Văn Toàn (HAGL), Olaha (SLNA)

Veteran striker Anh Duc and Vinicius both shone with two braces in the most exciting match of V.League Round 5. However, Anh Duc couldn't help his team secure any points, as besides Vinicius, Cong Thanh also scored a goal, giving the visitors a dramatic 3-2 victory in their away match against Ho Chi Minh City. Van Toan scored a brace in the match where HAGL hosted Than Quang Ninh, helping the home team win and keep three points at Pleiku Stadium.

In the match between SLNA and Thanh Hoa, Olaha played enthusiastically and energetically. Although he didn't score a goal, the player wearing number 7 repeatedly caused confusion in the visiting team's defense with his counter-attacking plays alongside his teammates.

This also prevented the visiting Thanh Hoa team from attacking comfortably, forcing them to push their entire team forward in search of an equalizer. With a bit more luck, Olaha could have scored a goal of his own if his shot in the 79th minute hadn't hit the crossbar.
