(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 16th, leaders of Quy Hop district visited, encouraged, and presented 20 million VND to the family of Mr. Luong Van Luat in Cung village, Chau Dinh commune, whose house was destroyed by fire on the afternoon of April 12th.

Nghe An: Three-room stilt house destroyed by fire, one person killed.
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Nguyen Van Suu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chau Dinh commune, Quy Hop district, said that at around 12 noon today (April 12), a serious fire broke out at the house of Mr. Luong Thanh Hien in Cung village.
The fire completely destroyed the three-room stilt house and the kitchen. Mr. Luong Thanh Hien died in the fire inside the house.
To help the family quickly stabilize their lives, the District People's Committee provided 20 million VND from the district's emergency support fund, the District Red Cross Society contributed 1 million VND, and the District Women's Union contributed 2 million VND to help the family settle down.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, at 12 PM on April 12th, upon discovering the fire, villagers joined hands to extinguish it. Quy Hop district also mobilized police, military, and a large number of militia from Chau Dinh commune to put out the fire and mitigate the consequences. However, they were unable to save Mr. Hien from the blaze. Due to the hot weather at the time, extinguishing the fire was difficult, and the flames completely destroyed his three-room stilt house, kitchen, motorbike, and all his belongings.
