On the morning of April 18, at Xa Doai Cathedral, Nghi Dien Commune, Nghi Loc District, Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long celebrated the Chrism Mass (the purpose of commemorating God's celebration of the sacrament of Priestly Ordination for a number of people to develop the Church).
Attending were Bishop Peter Nguyen Van Vien (Auxiliary Bishop of Vinh Diocese), Bishop Phaolo Maria Cao Dinh Thuyen (former Bishop of Vinh Diocese) and many priests and parishioners in the diocese.
