Delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front congratulates Vinh Bishopric on Easter
(Baonghean.vn) - Visiting and congratulating the Vinh Diocese and the Diocese's Bishop, the representative of the leadership of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front discussed the results of the campaigns of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in recent years, including the contributions of the Catholic community.
On the morning of April 20, the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Comrade Ngo Sach Thuc - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited and congratulated the Vinh Diocese and Bishop Nguyen Huu Long - Bishop of the Diocese, on the occasion of Easter 2019.
Accompanying the delegation, on the side of Nghe An province, were Mr. Nguyen Van Huy - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Le Duc Cuong - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the People's Committee of Nghi Loc district.

During the visit, after reporting on some of the country's economic, social, defense and security developments; and the results of the campaigns of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in recent years, the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front sent his congratulations and best wishes to Bishop Nguyen Huu Long on the occasion of Easter and the Bishop's new assignment.
At the same time, I hope Bishop Nguyen Huu Long will continue to care for and guide parishioners to actively participate in the movements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, contributing to building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, improving the material and spiritual life of the people and the development of the homeland.

On behalf of the Vinh Diocese, Bishop Nguyen Huu Long sent his thanks to the leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Nghe An province.
Bishop Nguyen Huu Long said: In the coming time, accompanying the Party, the State and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vinh Diocese will continue to promote land donation campaigns to build new rural roads, participate in environmental protection; join hands to do well the socialization of health care and education; care for and help people build a prosperous life and happy families.
Bishop Nguyen Huu Long sent his best wishes to the leaders of the Party, State and Nghe An province, hoping that they will continue to be wise and lead the country and Nghe An province to maintain growth momentum and develop further.

Also in the morning, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Nghe An province visited and congratulated Father Truong Van Truong, parish priest of Loc My, Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc district. In recent years, Loc My parish has been one of the typical examples of the patriotic emulation movement, living a good life, and upholding religion in Nghe An province.
