(Baonghean.vn) - Former Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Igor Romanenko declared that Kiev needs to participate in the invasion of Russian territory.

With such a statement, Mr. Romanenko commented on a reader's question on the Glavred portal about whether Russia is likely to lose part of its territory.

Romanenko noted that in order to succeed, “certain conditions need to be created,” and recommended that Kiev try to benefit in the event of such a scenario. “Of course, Ukraine needs to take advantage of such a moment,” he stressed.

This is not the first time Mr Romanenko has made provocative, belligerent statements against Russia.

Recently, last week, he affirmed that to deal with Moscow, Kiev needs a missile with a range "at least reaching the Urals, one of the eight federal regions of Russia, where the border divides Europe and Asia".
