Gold shop owner fights off robber with electric baton
Pretending to buy a gold bracelet, Nhan suddenly pulled out an electric baton to attack the shop owner but was fiercely resisted and locked in the house.

On the afternoon of April 20, Nguyen Trong Nhan (34 years old, from Long An) went to Kim Son gold shop in Tan Hiep town (Chau Thanh, Tien Giang) to buy an 18K gold bracelet. When the shop owner just brought out the bracelet, Nhan grabbed his hand and snatched it.
He pulled out an electric baton and shocked the shop owner many times, but the man did not let go. After a struggle, the shop owner ran out, locked the door, and shouted for help.
Nhan ran upstairs, climbed over the roofs of neighboring houses but could not find a way down. He returned to the gold shop and barricaded himself in, demanding to speak to the police.
