Bilateral patrol to protect Vietnam - Laos border on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 holidays
(Baonghean.vn) - Tam Hop Border Guard Station and BP Company 251 of the Military Command of Bolykhamxay Province (Laos) have informed each other about border markers and markers, promptly detecting, preventing, and handling issues related to border regulations between the two countries.
On April 27, Tam Hop Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with Border Guard Company 251 - Military Command of Bolykhamxay Province (Laos) to organize a bilateral patrol of the Vietnam - Laos border.

Two patrol teams overcame difficulties to complete the patrol mission, clearing the border from marker 425 to marker 426 and 5 markers with a total length of 14.828 km on the Vietnam - Laos border.
The two sides have properly implemented the principles in bilateral patrols, informed each other about border markers, promptly detected, prevented, and handled issues related to border regulations between the two countries, and protected the status quo of border markers.

At the end of the patrol, the two units had a meeting to review experiences and exchange information on security and order in the border marker area, creating a basis for the next patrols.
This activity demonstrates the solidarity and close bond between the two border protection forces; contributing to the joint protection and building of a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and mutually developing border.
