3 wanted subjects in black credit organization arrested

The Criminal Police Force has just arrested three more wanted suspects in a black credit organization operating in 63 provinces and cities nationwide, calling itself "Nam Long Group".

On the afternoon of April 28, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police had just arrested 3 more members of the "Nam Long Group", who are subjects in a black credit organization operating in 63 provinces and cities across the country.

Accordingly, the wanted subjects have just been arrested by the Thanh Hoa Police Department, including: Ngo Quang Dong (born in 1971, residing in Do Son, Hai Phong), Pham Duc Duy (born in 1981, residing in Tan Thanh, Duong Kinh, Hai Phong) and Tran Quang Trung (born in 1988, residing in Quang Ninh province).

Just a few days earlier, the Thanh Hoa Police Department also arrested four members of the "Nam Long Group", including: Dang Viet Ha (born in 1988, residing in Tan Thanh, Kinh Duong, Hai Phong), Dao Anh Tai (born in 1991, residing in Ward 24, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), Nguyen Van Lu (born in 1993, residing in Dong Hai Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong) and Mai Quang Anh (born in 1997, residing in Dai Ban, An Duong, Hai Phong).

These are the subjects wanted by the Thanh Hoa Police Department for their involvement in the organization specializing in lending at high interest rates in civil transactions of the "Nam Long Group".

At the end of 2018, the Thanh Hoa Police Department's Criminal Police Department coordinated with professional units of the Ministry of Public Security and the Police of many provinces and cities across the country to dismantle a black credit organization operating in 63 provinces and cities nationwide, calling itself "Nam Long Group".

According to the police investigation, "Nam Long Group" has 26 branches in 63 provinces and cities nationwide, each branch is in charge of 2 to 5 provinces and cities.

The subjects created a legal cover under the name of "Thanh Nam Construction Investment and Technical Consulting Joint Stock Company". Then they printed advertising business cards to lend money at high interest rates.

Not only does this credit institution use violence against customers, it also has medieval-style "disciplinary" methods for its employees.

According to statistics, 23/70 bank accounts of "Nam Long Group" have a transaction amount of more than 510 billion VND with more than 200 high-interest loan customers in 26 regions, in 63 provinces and cities across the country.

As of November 2018, the police have identified 12/26 areas where the amount of money that the subjects appropriated from the victims' loans was enough from 30 million to 1.5 billion VND. The police have also verified 100 customers who borrowed money from "Nam Long Group".

Currently, Thanh Hoa Police are actively coordinating with the Criminal Police Department, professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security, and police of provinces and cities across the country to continue investigating and expanding the case.
