Bodies of 3 missing cousins found while bathing in the river in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - At 8:40 a.m. on April 30, the bodies of three cousins who went missing while bathing in the river were found.

(Baonghean.vn) - On a holiday, 5 cousins went to Hieu River to swim, but 3 of them are missing.
Mr. Dinh The Vinh - Vice Chairman of Thai Hoa Town People's Committee directly directed the search and gave the above information.
After nearly 12 hours of searching, at 5:15 a.m. on April 30, rescuers and fishermen found the body of Phung Thi Mai (born 2011) - the youngest of the three drowned cousins. The body was located close to the western bank of the Hieu River, while the children took in water from the eastern bank.
At 7:30 a.m., the search team continued to discover the body of Tran Thi Kim Xuyen (born 2006). At 8:40 a.m., the body of Tran Van Luyen was found, about 1km away from the location of the two girls.
Currently, the authorities are carrying out legal procedures and handing over the bodies of the children to their families. It is known that the children's family circumstances are very difficult. In the immediate future, the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town has allocated 8 million VND to support the families of the victims. At the same time, it is mobilizing businesses, philanthropists and people to continue to support the families of the children materially and spiritually.

As reported, at around 3:00 p.m. on April 29, five children aged between 5 and 13 went to Hieu River, passing through Block 4, Long Son Ward, to take a bath. While bathing, Nhung (3rd grade) and Vi (1st grade) did not see the three people bathing together, so they ran back to call their father, Mr. Phan Van Dinh (living in Hamlet 4, Long Son Ward), to come and look for them.
The search mobilized about 100 people including Rescue Team - Fire Prevention and Fighting No. 3, Military Command, Thai Hoa Town Police, forces of Long Son and Quang Tien Ward People's Committees, and all fishermen of Long Son Ward, Thai Hoa Town.
There was also the coordination of rescue forces from Nghia Dan and Tan Ky districts and a team of professional divers mobilized by Nghe An Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command.
