Midfielder Quang Hai may move to La Liga in the 2020 season
Information that Coach Park Hang-seo's favorite student had a plan to train with Deportivo Alaves Club was released not long ago. However, this plan did not take place due to many factors.
Mr. Ivan Codina - Managing Director of La Liga in Japan, Korea, Australia and Southeast Asia. Mr. Codina explained why Quang Hai could not wear the shirt of Derpotivo Alaves Club: "The Vietnam National Team played well at the 2019 Asian Cup, the end of this tournament is not the right time for Quang Hai. He had some problems, got injured after 2 years of playing many tournaments at the national team and club level. That is really unfortunate, so we have to wait for another time", said the official of the La Liga Club.
According to Mr. Ivan Codina, Deportivo Alaves is interested in the Vietnamese football development market. They are one of the teams that want to join La Liga to bring the tournament's image and club brand closer to fans. So, Quang Hai is that bridge. Initially, Quang Hai will have about 10 days of living and training with Alaves Club after the 2019 Asian Cup. It is not a transfer deal, but simply a trip to get acquainted with the football atmosphere in Spain. However, this plan did not take place.
