The job of pushing shrimp is quite hard because you have to stay in the water for hours, your feet have to move continuously, but in return, people have an attractive source of income, some lucky days you can earn 2 - 3 million VND. Fisherman Phan Ho Ba said: "To hunt for shrimp, you have to wait until the sea is calm to get a lot, if the waves are big, they won't come ashore. Some days, because of the big waves, we have to sit and wait from morning until the sea is calm to catch them." Photo: Viet Hung |

To hunt for sea shrimp, fishermen have created a Y-shaped push pole 3 - 4 meters long; at both ends of the pole is attached a strip of net to hold the prey. When going to sea, fishermen just need to hold the tool and move forward, and the sea shrimp will immediately fall into the net. Photo: Viet Hung |
