Accordingly, the industry will establish 4 inter-district forest ranger units on the basis of merging 8 district-level forest ranger units under the Forestry Sub-Department, including:
Hung Nguyen Inter-district Forest Protection Department and Vinh City; Quynh Luu Inter-district Forest Protection Department and Hoang Mai Town; Nghi Loc Inter-district Forest Protection Department and Cua Lo Town; Nghia Dan Inter-district Forest Protection Department and Thai Hoa Town.
Thus, the Forest Protection Department's apparatus will reduce 4 departments, and at the same time receive an equivalent reduction of 4 department heads and 2 deputy department heads.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will also increase the number of staff at forest rangers in the delta areas with small forest areas, mainly planted forests and forests assigned to organizations and individuals for management and use, to supplement the mountainous districts with large areas of natural forests, protective forests, and special-use forests.
Forest protection management stations of protective forest management boards will also be merged with forest protection management stations of the Forest Protection Department into a common forest protection management station in the area to strengthen forest protection management.
