The Crimeans see their future as part of Russia. Today the peninsula is fully integrated as a Russian region, said Joe Macintyre, Representative of the US delegation, member of the organization “Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Energy in Space”.

A special delegation of activists from the United States arrived in Crimea for a five-day visit. The group, numbering about 20 people, also included representatives from Britain, Sweden, Israel and Nepal. They left the peninsula on Sunday.
“Crimea has fully integrated into Russia. After visiting this place, we understand why people voted like that. It is in the interests and concerns of the people to become a real part of Russia. We understand why the referendum results were like that. If I were a Crimean, I would also choose to return to the Fatherland,” Mr. Macintyre affirmed.
