Forecast: Today (May 15), due to the influence of the southern edge of the low pressure area in the West with the southwest wind causing the foehn effect, in the mountainous areas of the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien - Hue, the provinces from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa and some places in the Northwest, there will be hot weather with the highest temperature during the day of 35-37 degrees, some places over 37 degrees.
From May 16-19, heat waves and severe heat waves will appear widely in the Northern and Central provinces with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 36-39 degrees, especially in mountainous areas of the Central provinces, some places will reach 39-40 degrees.
