(Baonghean.vn) - The 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Hung Nguyen district, term 2019-2024, has elected 65 members. Comrade Thai Thi Hai Chau was re-elected as Chairwoman of the VFF of Hung Nguyen district, term 2019-2024.
On May 14, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Nguyen districtorganized the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district, term 2019 - 2024. During the 2014-2019 term, the work of the Front and the great national unity bloc in Hung Nguyen districtcontinues to be affirmed and enhanced in all aspects of social life. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the district have done a good job of propagating and mobilizing people to participate in economic development.
Prominently in the new rural construction movement, the Fatherland Front of Hung Nguyen district mobilized people to contribute 42.6 billion VND, 300,000 working days, and donate 16,500 m2 of land.2land for construction of rural welfare facilities.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the district mobilized 3.8 billion VND from the fund for the poor, supporting the construction of 122 new solidarity houses; chaired relief activities, directly mobilized, received and distributed more than 5.7 billion VND.
Delegates at the Congress focused on discussing and contributing ideas to continue innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, building a strong Front organization, and at the same time proposing goals, contents and solutions to concretize the 5 action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hung Nguyen district.term 2019-2024.
