Vinh University organizes May Arts Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - This is an opportunity for cadres, lecturers, students and pupils to exchange and learn, promote the development of cultural and artistic movements; contribute to traditional education, and spread revolutionary songs that have lasted through the years among young people.
To celebrate the 129th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, 50 years of implementing Uncle Ho's Testament, and towards the 60th anniversary of Vinh University's establishment, Vinh University's Youth Union organized the May 2019 Art Festival on the evening of May 17.
After 2 nights of group stage competition with 9 art programs and 45 carefully staged performances, the Organizing Committee selected 17 best performances to be performed at the May 2019 Art Festival.
With the themes: Praising the homeland, praising the Party and praising President Ho Chi Minh; praising the national tradition, the tradition of revolutionary struggle..., the festival is an opportunity for cadres, lecturers, students to exchange and learn, promote the development of cultural and artistic movements; contribute to educating traditions, spreading revolutionary songs that have gone through the years among the youth; improve spiritual and cultural life, and orient musical aesthetics.

At the end of the May 2019 Arts Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes and 3 Encouragement Prizes for the Singing category; 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 2 Encouragement Prizes for the Dance category; 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 4 Encouragement Prizes for the Singing and Dancing category.

In addition, for the overall team award, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Excellent prize to the Faculty of Law Union, the First prize to the Faculty of Education Union, and 2 Second prizes, 2 Third prizes, and 3 Encouragement prizes to the remaining teams.
