Promoting inter-regional connectivity to effectively exploit Nghe An's tourism potential

Towards specifying the cooperation program between Nghe An Department of Tourism and Hanoi Department of Tourism for the period 2017 - 2020, focusing on activities on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2019), towards the 130th anniversary of his birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020), Hanoi Department of Tourism organized a Famtrip delegation to survey tourism in Nghe An.

After conducting surveys at several locations in Nghe An such as the tea island (Thanh Chuong), Muong Thanh Safari Dien Lam Eco-tourism Area, Cua Lo Town, etc., the two sides agreed to organize a seminar "Connecting North Central Tourism 2019".
The representative of the Hanoi Famtrip delegation said that the survey in Nghe An aims to enhance the exchange of experiences in building tourism products, managing travel agencies, destinations, tourist accommodation facilities, and exchanging content on cooperation in developing and connecting tours and routes. At the same time, it supports tourism businesses in exploiting and developing new tourism products, diversifying tourism types, etc.

Hanoi Department of Tourism highly appreciated the survey program in Nghe An, creating connections between businesses, tourism service providers and local authorities, contributing to creating new products, improving the quality of route services, and effectively contributing to the process of socio-economic development.
At the discussion, members of the Hanoi Famtrip delegation contributed some important ideas, suggesting the development of Nghe An tourism. Most of the opinions affirmed that Nghe An is a locality with many potentials and advantages for tourism development. The infrastructure system has been invested in and built spaciously, the service quality is increasingly professional, the routes, destinations and tourism products are quite diverse.

However, to continue developing tourism commensurate with its potential, Nghe An needs to pay attention to improving product and service quality, focusing on investing in unique products. At the same time, investing in improving the quality of human resources; strengthening promotion and advertising activities and promoting cooperation to connect inter-regions...
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of Nghe An Department of Tourism thanked and acknowledged the contributions of the members of the Hanoi Famtrip Delegation. On that basis, he will continue to research, adjust and find suitable solutions to improve the quality of tourism products.
