Thanh Da parish organizes weekly adoration

(Baonghean.vn) - This is also the beginning activity for the second 100-year cycle of adoration of this parish.

On May 20, Thanh Da Parish, Quynh Thanh Commune, Quynh Luu District held a high-level mass.

Attending the ceremony were Bishop Peter Nguyen Van Vien, Auxiliary Bishop of Vinh Diocese, along with many guest priests, hometown priests and more than 8,000 parishioners inside and outside Thanh Da Parish.

Many dignitaries and parishioners were present at the peak of the Thanh Da Parish week of worship.

The Mass was conducted through sacraments, rituals and homilies. The parish reiterated the importance of the adoration week; called on the parishioners to join in solemn and reverent Mass and pray for the success of the climax day of the parish's adoration week.

Previously, on May 17, Bishop of the Diocese of Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long visited the parish and celebrated the Confirmation Mass for 162 children in the parish.
