(Baonghean.vn) - Leaving Nghe An for 2 years, "Vietnam's Ronaldo" still cannot forget the affection that Nghe An football fans have given him during the past time.

Nghe An Newspaper had a short chat with Tran Phi Son before the big match between SLNA - Ho Chi Minh City Club.

PV: Hello Tran Phi Son! How is your injury?

I just got back from a check-up and got very encouraging results. Currently, my injury has recovered about 80%, the day I return to the field is not far away. It is expected that I will be present in the matches of Ho Chi Minh City Club in the second leg of V.League 2019.

PV: Does not being able to play in the match between Ho Chi Minh City Club and SLNA on the afternoon of May 25 make you feel regretful?

Of course. Since the beginning of the season, I have not contributed anything to Ho Chi Minh City FC. I just hope that my injury will heal quickly so that I can return to play and contribute more to the team.

PV: After so many days away, do you miss SLNA?

The image of SLNA will forever be in my heart. Since the day I left Vinh Stadium, I have always followed and cheered for my hometown team. I will never forget what SLNA and Nghe An fans have given me during the past time. Honestly, I miss them very much!

PV: What do you want to say to SLNA fans?

I love and miss you so much!

PV: What is your biggest wish since leaving SLNA?

That is to retire in SLNA shirt. However, at this time, I am a member of Ho Chi Minh City Club, my mission is to fight with all my might to help the home team achieve success.

PV: This afternoon, May 25, will you go to the stadium to cheer for your teammates at Ho Chi Minh City Club in the match against your old team SLNA?

I will definitely be there to cheer for my teammates at Ho Chi Minh City Club. Besides, this is also an opportunity for me to meet my teachers and old teammates at SLNA after many days apart. In particular, I will try to go to the track to greet SLNA fans. Hopefully, they have not forgotten me (laughs)!

PV: Can you predict the result of the match between Ho Chi Minh City Club and SLNA?

This question is too difficult, I will not answer (laughs).

Thank you Tran Phi Son for this conversation. I wish you a quick recovery from your injury and a return as soon as possible!
