HAGL lost the first match under coach Lee Tae-hoon; Bayern completed the domestic double
(Baonghean.vn) - The mountain town team lost 1-2 when visiting Da Nang in round 11 of V-League 2019, on the afternoon of May 25.
HALG broken circuit
Hundreds of Da Nang fans braved the rain to come to the stadium, and just 7 minutes after the match started, they were able to celebrate the opening goal. After a corner kick from the home team, Hong Duy cleared the ball right to Anh Tuan who was standing close to the 16m50 line. The Da Nang midfielder immediately volleyed the ball through the gap between Trong Sang's legs into the net, while goalkeeper Sietsma stood rooted to the spot watching.
In the 26th minute, still from Thanh Hai's corner kick, Tien Dung jumped high and headed the ball into Sietsma's net, raising the score to 2-0. HAGL could have lost even more if goalkeeper Sietsma had not brilliantly blocked two close-range shots from Nirennold and a dangerous header from Do Merlo.

In the match against Da Nang, coach Lee Tae-hoon left Chevaughn Walsh on the bench because he had not fully recovered from his injury. As a result, his team was completely stuck in attack. In the 41st minute, the Korean coach was forced to send his best striker - who had scored 7 goals in 10 matches - onto the field. Just two minutes after appearing, the Jamaican striker helped HAGL create the first scoring opportunity of the match. He skillfully turned around in front of two Da Nang defenders and then kicked the ball over the bar.
Leading by two goals, Da Nang proactively slowed down the tempo. Coach Le Huynh Duc also sent Ha Duc Chinh in to replace Anh Tuan in the hope of helping his players end their goal drought. The Vietnamese striker had a chance in the second minute of extra time but his shot was too weak to trouble goalkeeper Sietsma.
On the opposite side, HAGL had more possession of the ball than in the first half but their attacking ability did not improve. It was not until the 83rd minute that they had another chance to score when Van Toan's shot missed the post by a hair. In the third minute of extra time, Hong Duy crossed accurately for Minh Vuong to head in, narrowing the score to 1-2. However, HAGL had no chance to score because right after that goal, the referee blew the whistle to end the match.
Bayern complete domestic double
The Bavarian team defeated Leipzig 3-0 in the National Cup final on the evening of May 25 and won both titles in Germany for the 12th time.
Two weeks ago, Leipzig held Bayern Munich to a goalless draw, forcing the Bavarians to wait until the final round to win the Bundesliga. When they met in the German Cup final, Leipzig were even more courageous. They pressed high from the start, threatening Manuel Neuer's goal, and came close when Yussuf Poulsen headed the ball against the crossbar.

However, Bayern did not let their opponents win the National Cup in their first cup match. After a shaky start, Niko Kovac's team proved their class by opening the scoring in the 29th minute, thanks to a header from Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker completed his double in the 85th minute, sealing a 3-0 victory for Bayern. Kingsley Coman scored between Lewandowski's two goals.
