Peaceful thatched houses in Uncle Ho's hometown
(Baonghean.vn) - There are simple villages named Sen village, Tru village, around the small alleys with green bamboo hedges are many rustic thatched houses, with the scent of lotus, areca nut, and brown soil - where rows of sweet potatoes, peanuts... fresh shoots grow in the early morning sun. That village, that hometown for many years now seems to have become Chung's hometown, and every time I remember it, there is the peaceful presence of thatched roofs, the deep folk songs echoing with the fields, mountains and rivers.
