Burial of martyrs' remains in Truong Sa archipelago
(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 30 years of resting at Cam Ranh Cemetery - Khanh Hoa, the remains of martyrs who died in Truong Sa archipelago were brought back to their hometown for burial.

On May 31, the People's Committee of Thanh Giang commune, Thanh Chuong district coordinated with the family of the martyr to organize a burial ceremony for the remains of martyr Nguyen Van Vi at the martyr cemetery of Thanh Giang commune.
Martyr Nguyen Van Vy was born in 1967, from Ba Nghe hamlet, Thanh Giang commune. He enlisted in the army in 1985 and died in Truong Sa archipelago, Khanh Hoa province on June 19, 1988. Over the past 30 years, the martyr has been buried and laid to rest at Cam Ranh City Cemetery.

Up to now, according to the family's wishes, the remains of martyr Nguyen Van Vy have been moved to his hometown cemetery for burial.
