Con Cuong provides nearly 200 native black pigs to the people
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 1, Con Cuong district organized the provision of pig breeds to 6 households implementing the model in 3 communes of Mon Son, Thach Ngan, and Mau Duc.
Accordingly, 6 households implemented the model in 3 communes, corresponding to 192 piglets provided, of which: Thach Ngan commune has 3 households, each household is supported with 22 pigs, Mau Duc has 2 households, each household is supported with 32 pigs, Mon Son has 1 household, supported with 64 pigs.

These are households selected by the district as typical models for people to learn from. After 1 year, these households must be responsible for re-developing breeding animals for poor households. The pigs provided are 100% local black pigs purchased locally and weigh from 13-15 kg/pig. The total amount of money supported for the model is 300 million VND. This amount is implemented from the policy of supporting agricultural and rural development.
In addition to being supported with breeding pigs, households are also guided by suppliers and district and commune experts on the breeding process, care, and disease prevention so that pigs can grow and develop well.
