Nghe An Newspaper Cup: Hoang Mai Children and the dream of the final
(Baonghean.vn) - Having won the championship in 2017 and the style award in 2018, this year the Hoang Mai town children's team is putting all their efforts into the tournament with the goal of reaching the finals.
Hoang Mai town is a locality with limited facilities to serve the mass sports movement. All training activities have to be rented on artificial turf. Overcoming all difficulties, right after the end of the 2018 season, the team's coaching staff began looking for new faces.

Through the youth football classes, children with football talent and passion are selected by the coach to be included in the training squad. For a whole year, the whole team enthusiastically practices 3 sessions/week under the guidance of coach Ho Van Tien. The children are meticulously instructed in technical and tactical aspects in a systematic manner, as well as diet and exercise regimen to achieve the best physical fitness.
Of the 12 members of the team, only 2 have participated in the tournament since last year, the rest are "newbies". Sharing with us, Chu Hong Quan, Quynh Thien ward excitedly said: This is the first year I have participated in the tournament so I feel very happy and proud. During the training process, the teacher was quite strict to instill discipline and required everyone to be united. I also hope that this year the team will not disappoint everyone's training efforts and expectations.

Although the locality has participated in the tournament the least compared to other districts and cities, in 6 seasons, Hoang Mai children's team has won 1 season and reached the quarter-finals 1 season. That is the motivation to give hope to the players.
This year, the Hoang Mai children's team is very even, some of them have been training for 1-2 years, so they have good basic skills and a high spirit of solidarity. During the 1 year of training, the best faces have been selected to participate in the tournament. Hopefully this year with this team, Hoang Mai children will reach the final match.
In order to help the players gain more experience, the team played friendly matches with other district teams such as Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Nghia Dan, Quy Hop. Through each match, the coach will promptly detect tactical gaps as well as technical errors of each player, thereby providing solutions to overcome them.

Hoang Mai Children's Team is considered one of the brightest candidates for the championship with a strong squad including 3 children Nguyen Hai Dang, Nguyen Phuc Ta, Bach Trong Duong, all of whom are in the U11 team of Song Lam Nghe An preparing to participate in the National Children's Tournament in Nghe An.
Currently, these 3 players have joined the SLNA team and are determined to fight alongside their team for the upcoming tournament.
Hopefully, with great effort and determination, Hoang Mai children's team will make a spectacular breakthrough at the 2019 Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament.
