(Baonghean.vn) - Although the Math test was considered difficult, candidates still found it interesting when in question 3, the test told the story of student Vi Quyet Chien traveling 180km from Son La to Hanoi to visit his younger brother who was being treated in the hospital.

Candidates complained that Math was difficult.

At exactly 10 o'clock this morning, the candidates completed the last exam of the 10th grade entrance exam. Although there were still worries, in general, the candidates felt relieved because they had completed the most important exam of the secondary school level.

Because the exam time is only 120 minutes, no candidate left the exam site at Le Viet Thuat High School early. It was nearly 10 minutes after the final bell rang that candidates began to come out, with different moods.

Ho Thi Tuyet Thuong, a student at Truong Thi Secondary School, said: "The test was moderate, I got about 80% right but I'm not sure I got it right, especially questions 4b, 4c and question 5.

In addition, question 1b looks easy at first glance, but if you don't look clearly at the conditions of the question, you will be confused and deceived. In my exam room, many students got that question wrong."

Many other candidates also shared this opinion. Hoang Van Bao, a student at Hung Dung Secondary School, said: "Questions 2 and 3 were quite simple and quick to do, but the remaining questions took a lot of time. For question 4c, I had to think for 30 minutes... Some candidates even compared the questions from other provinces and found that Nghe An's questions were more difficult than those from provinces like Tay Ninh and Ninh Binh, and were no different from the mock exams at school."

At the Thai Hoa High School Examination Council, Nguyen Hong Quan, a student at Lien Thang Secondary School, also said: "I did about 70% of the exam, mainly focusing on basic content with types of exercises such as: solving systems of equations, finding intersections between graphs... But the geometry part was a bit difficult for me."

At the Examination Council of Con Cuong District High School, after 120 minutes of taking the test, candidates left the exam room worried and thought that the test was relatively difficult, with clear differentiation...

After the exam, Lo Thi Nham, Binh Chuan Secondary School, commented: "The Math exam was not easy, only students with good academic performance could complete the requirements of the exam and "I could only do about 50% but it is not certain that it was correct".

Even average students can only do about 40% of the test and most of them cannot do the geometry part.

Talking about this, Lu Thi Dieu Linh, Examination Council of Quy Chau High School shared: "At first, when I read the exam, I was really surprised by this question and I also knew about the touching story above. Then, after reading carefully, I found that this question was actually not too difficult, I could do it.

However, many sentences, if students do not read carefully, can be easily confused, such as shortened sentences if they do not pay attention to the conditions. For this final exam, I am only sure that I will get 6-7.5 points."

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Lien, a math teacher at Hanh Thiet Secondary School, said: "The structure of the exam is quite close to the limit given by the Department. The exam is at an average level, with differentiation. The question applying the Viet formula to find the smallest value may be difficult for some students."

Commenting on this year's exam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Linh, a math teacher at Cua Nam Secondary School, Vinh City, said: "The problem about Vi Quyet Chien is essentially a motion problem, but the way the question is presented is quite good, providing students with more information about a social relationship and does not greatly affect the nature of the question.

In addition, the overall structure of the test is similar to last year with 5 questions divided into small questions, closely following the test matrix provided by the Department.

The test also classifies students. For example, questions 1 and 2 are easy to score, but in question 1b, students often forget that the identity has an absolute value, so it is easy to lose points.

Question 3, the problem is divided into 2 distances, walking and cycling, which is a bit tricky, but students have practiced a lot in the problem of motion, so they will definitely do well.

In questions 4 and 5, many students can do question 4a. From question 4b, to get 8 points is difficult, even for good students. As for questions 4c and 5, they are only for good students with solid knowledge. For a long time, students have often been afraid of Geometry, so not many students can do this question"./.
