"Today, at 6:35 Moscow time (10:35 Hanoi time) in the southeast of the East China Sea, while moving along a route parallel to the Pacific Fleet's flotilla and a US Navy aircraft carrier group, the cruiser URO Chancellorsville suddenly changed course and blocked the path of the Admiral Vinogradov at a distance of 50 meters," the press service said.
To prevent a collision, the crew of the Admiral Vinogradov was forced to perform emergency maneuvers.
"On the international stage, a statement was made against the commander of the US ship, stating that such actions are inappropriate," the Pacific Fleet said in a statement.
