The story of school violence in the exam questions of Nghe An's specialized schools

Many candidates rated the test as difficult.

At the examination site of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Hoa Hieu 2 Secondary School (Thai Hoa town) was the first candidate to leave the examination room and received enthusiastic cheers from the volunteer team.

However, this candidate was not confident in her exam and admitted that she gave up early because she did not do well on some questions. "I found the exam quite interesting, but because I was busy studying for the transfer exam, I really did not learn much. I also hoped to only get 10 points (on a 20-point scale) because I was not sure on some questions," Thuy said.

Also taking the History exam, candidate Nguyen Dang Manh, Hung Dung Secondary School (Vinh City), who won third prize in the province's History exam, said that the exam was quite long with 5 questions and mainly focused on the period of resistance against France and one foreign history question about the United States.

"Basically, the content was in the program and I did all the questions. But I liked question 3 the most, the part about applying the Party's guidelines in the current struggle to protect sovereignty over seas and islands. This is a very good question, relevant to current events and we were able to use our knowledge to discuss this issue," said this candidate.

At the Vinh University High School for the Gifted, candidate Nguyen Hung Nguyen, Xuan Dieu Secondary School (Can Loc District, Ha Tinh), said: This year's exam was for both specialized schools, so I found it very standard and interesting, but also more difficult than last year. With the Math test, I could only do about half of it. Questions 4b, 4c and geometry question 5 were the most difficult, in addition, question 3 about the value of expressions was quite tricky, requiring high thinking.

The Physics exam also caused difficulty for many candidates and most of them confirmed that the exam was quite long and more difficult than previous years.

Many "hot" issues were included in the exam.

In the Literature exam, the candidates were also quite excited about the questions. In the reading comprehension section, the question used the poem "Thuong nho mua ngau" by the "child prodigy" Do Nhat Nam. In the writing section, although the exam was not easy, many candidates were excited when there was a question about the "power of passion".

Candidate Phan Thi Minh, Le Hong Phong Secondary School (Hung Nguyen), after writing 3 pages of paper, said: This question is appropriate for our current age and in my opinion, passion has many meanings and each person must know how to find their own passion in life to motivate them to try.

With Foreign Language - the specialized subject with the largest number of candidates registering for the exam, the competition rate is high in both specialized schools, so the difficulty of the exam is not too surprising to many candidates.

Candidate Ngo Duc Huan, from Dang Thai Mai Secondary School (Vinh City) said: Many of the questions in this year's exam are in the English program for high school. I even found the questions as difficult as the questions for the second round of the City's Excellent Student Selection Exam.

Candidate Nguyen Ngoc Diep, a student at Dang Thai Mai Secondary School - who was the valedictorian of the Vinh City Excellent Student Competition and won second prize in the Provincial Excellent Student Competition, also said: Compared to the last two years, this year's exam is more difficult. The listening part is a bit difficult to listen to because the passage is long and spoken quickly. I predicted that there would be a lot of idioms and compound words in the other parts such as grammar, but in the end, the exam was very surprising because this year's word structure test had a lot of new words and quite complicated changes. The easiest part was the fill-in-the-blank test.

I quite like the essay with 2 topics: complaints and school violence and spent more than 1 hour to focus on this part and have high hopes. Actually, this is not a new issue but each person has their own thoughts and personally, I think that school violence can originate from many different sources, but the most important concerns are from the family and school...
