On the last working day of the 7th session, National Assembly deputies will vote to pass the draft Law on Prevention and Control of Harmful Effects of Alcohol and Beer - a bill that is causing much controversy due to its provisions "getting weaker" with each revision of the draft.

Also this week, the National Assembly will vote to pass many other laws and resolutions such as the Law on Enforcement of Criminal Judgments (amended); the Law on Education (amended); the Law on Tax Administration (amended); the Law on Public Investment (amended); the Resolution on the results of thematic supervision of planning, management and land use from 2014 to the end of 2018; the Resolution on ratifying the accession to Convention No. 98 of the International Labor Organization; the Resolution on approving the 2017 state budget settlement; the Resolution on the National Assembly's supervision program in 2020; the Resolution on the law and ordinance making program in 2020, adjusting the law and ordinance making program in 2019, etc.
Another important content is that the National Assembly approved the proposal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court on the appointment of Supreme People's Court Judges by secret ballot.
