On the morning of June 11, Nghia Dan - Thai Hoa Power Company held a ceremony to announce the merger of Nghia Dan Power Company and Thai Hoa town.

On February 28, 2019, the Chairman of the Northern Power Corporation issued Decision No. 478/QD-EVNNPC on the merger of Nghia Dan Power Company and Thai Hoa Town Power Company.
Currently, Nghia Dan - Thai Hoa Electricity serves more than 71,000 customers, of which 63,130 are household customers.
