(Baonghean.vn) - Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, National Assembly delegate from Nghe An, agreed with the necessity of promulgating the Law on Reserve Forces, in which the content must inherit the military art of the Vietnamese revolution; at the same time, it must meet the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new revolutionary stage.

Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 gave many comments on the draft law, affirming the necessity of promulgating the law, in which the content must inherit the military art of the Vietnamese revolution; at the same time, it must meet the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new revolutionary stage, high-tech warfare, unconventional warfare, and the rules of recent wars.

In addition, with some draft contents such as: In case of exemption or reduction of participation, it is up to the People's Committee or the head of the management agency, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi suggested that it be assigned only to the Chairman of the People's Committee because it would not be necessary to hold a People's Committee meeting to resolve a case of exemption or reduction.

The delegate also proposed to amend Article 34 on the subsidy regime for families of reserve soldiers during the time the reserve soldiers are concentrated in training, testing, and combat readiness. As such, this assurance work still lacks participation in preventing and combating natural disasters, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, seriously affecting social safety and national security.
