President Putin: Russia, Türkiye and Iran together successfully fight terrorism in Syria
President Vladimir Putin said that the results achieved in the fight against terrorism in Syria are the joint success of Russia, Türkiye and Iran.
"The relations between Russia and Iran are multidimensional and multilateral. This concerns the economy, regional issues and stability, our joint efforts to fight terrorism, including in Syria," President Putin said during a meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

The Russian President stressed that the parties have done a lot towards resolving the Syrian crisis.
“Among these, Iran’s positive stance has contributed. Obviously, this is our common success – Iran, Türkiye and Russia,” the Russian President said.
Mr. Putin stressed that Russian-Iranian economic relations are developing in many aspects.
“These centuries-old, close humanitarian ties and mutual interest of the Russian world and Persian culture have always been a very meaningful part of our dialogue,” Putin said.
The Russian President noted that he was very pleased to have the opportunity to meet Mr. Rouhani again and discuss all issues together.
