Focus on building many new models and ways of promoting the image of 'Uncle Ho's Soldiers'
(Baonghean.vn) - From the practical experience of the campaign, many models and creative methods have emerged, bringing practical results in tasks. The entire Military Region has thousands of typical collectives and individuals honored and rewarded.
On June 17, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 held an expanded conference to review 5 years of implementing the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers", period 2014 - 2019.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army attended and gave a speech. Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Military Region; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Military Region Command, representatives of leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the Military Region. Major General Tran Vo Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Region chaired the conference.
Over the past 5 years, the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" has been focused on leadership, direction and implementation by the Party Committee of the Military Region, Party committees, political commissars, political officers, commanders, and political agencies at all levels in the entire Military Region 4.
The movement has become a regular awareness and practice, creating a strong change in awareness of self-cultivation, training, and improvement of revolutionary ethics, preventing and repelling degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party.
Through the campaign, officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces have political courage, a steadfast and firm ideological stance, pure moral qualities, a healthy lifestyle; solidarity, love for comrades and teammates; build a regular order, practice good discipline; unite closely with the people; overcome difficulties, be resourceful, creative, self-reliant, and compete to successfully carry out all tasks, contributing to building a politically strong Military Region's armed forces, successfully completing all assigned tasks.

At the same time, it is required: In the face of new developments in the world, region and domestic situation; the requirement to build the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" is always an important foundation for building a strong Army in terms of politics, ideology and organization. Therefore, in the coming time, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 needs to continue to direct the promotion of propaganda and education to raise awareness of the value and importance of building the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new period.
