(Baonghean.vn) - Reflecting to the National Assembly delegates, voters of Thanh Xuan commune (Thanh Chuong) expressed their frustration at the degraded power grid system in the area.

On the morning of June 21, in Thanh Xuan commune (Thanh Chuong), a conference of National Assembly deputies meeting voters took place. National Assembly deputies attending the conference included Mr. Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Moong Van Tinh - official of Que Phong District Youth Union.

Rural power grid degrades

After listening to the National Assembly delegates announce the results of the 7th session of the 14th National Assembly, voters of Thanh Xuan commune reflected many issues in the area.

Voter Tran Van Duong - Xuan Yen hamlet expressed his indignation when the electricity system in the area seriously degraded, affecting people's lives. In particular, the problem of unstable power source and unsecured electricity has caused many farming areas to not be irrigated.

In hamlets such as Xuan Thao, Xuan Hien, Xuan Quynh, dozens of electric poles have been broken for a long time but have not been fixed yet.

Voter Tran Ngoc Khanh (Xuan Nam hamlet) reported that the African swine fever epidemic is complicated in the district, threatening the commune's herd of over 2,600 pigs. However, many livestock households have built barns and farms in locations adjacent to water sources, and waste from the livestock farming process has not been properly treated and discharged into the environment, threatening livestock safety and causing pollution in the area.

Voters in Xuan Dien hamlet also reported the delay in granting land use right certificates to 26 households who have settled in the area since 1988; issues regarding rural traffic infrastructure, health insurance benefits when transferring to treatment facilities, increasing retirement age, etc. were also raised by voters to National Assembly delegates.

Thanh Xuan is a mountainous commune of Thanh Chuong district. The commune has a natural area of ​​4,233 hectares, with more than 2,200 households distributed in 17 hamlets.

Average income per capita reached 32.5 million VND/year. Poverty rate accounted for 12.3%.

Immediately fix the shortcomings of the power grid infrastructure

At the conference, the leaders of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee answered the issues raised by voters. Regarding issues related to the power system, the District People's Committee directed Thanh Chuong Electricity to survey and replace 20 broken power poles. Currently, the District Electricity is making a list of investments to renovate the power grid infrastructure at 36 transformer stations in the area.

Next, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates, Mr. Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation received and clarified the contents of voters' interest.

In response to voters' concerns about the quality of National Assembly deputies, the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation affirmed that there are no "no-go zones" in this issue, any individual, including National Assembly deputies, who violate the law will be subject to appropriate legal punishment.

Many contents were also answered by Mr. Tran Van Mao to voters right at the conference. In addition, voters' opinions and recommendations will be compiled by the provincial National Assembly delegates and sent to relevant agencies, departments and branches.
