On the morning of June 21st, the Vinh City Party Committee organized a conference to study the thematic topic "The historical significance and enduring value of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, and the results of 50 years of implementing the Testament (1969 - 2019)"; and to thoroughly understand the contents of the 10th Conference of the Central Committee of the Party (12th term).Attending the conference were: Comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council; leaders of the Party Building Committees and the City Party Committee Office; heads of departments and specialized units of the City People's Council and People's Committee; leaders of the City Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of wards and communes, secretaries of affiliated grassroots Party organizations…Photo: US-Russia |
This is a widespread political campaign aimed at further affirming and clarifying the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the nation, the country, the Vietnamese revolution, and the world proletarian revolution.
With the study theme "The historical significance and enduring value of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, and the results of 50 years of implementing his Testament (1969 - 2019)", the conference affirmed the profound theoretical and practical significance and value of Ho Chi Minh's Testament and thought in the current national construction and defense; focusing on reviewing the basic contents of the Testament, especially his admonitions on Party building, nurturing the next generation of revolutionaries, caring for the people's lives, and the spirit of international solidarity.
Emphasizing President Ho Chi Minh's letter to the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, particularly the chosen content "Actively implement democracy with the people even more," the conference also aimed to raise awareness and responsibility among cadres, Party members throughout the Party committee, armed forces, and people of Vinh City in implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament. It also aimed to promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, creating a strong transformation in awareness and action within the Party committee, political system, and the people.
Accordingly, the implementation of activities linked to patriotic emulation movements throughout the political system regarding economic and social development, national defense, security, Party building, etc., will be in line with the spirit of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels and the political tasks of the city.
Also at the conference, the Vinh City Party Committee organized a briefing on the contents of the 10th Conference of the Central Committee of the Party (12th term); the contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW on Party Congresses at all levels leading to the 13th National Congress of the Party; and Announcement No. 55-TB/TW of the Politburo on the five-year review of the implementation of Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo on the direction and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2020.
