Although her sentence was deferred because she was raising a young child, Le Thi Huong (born in 1973, from Xuan Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province) has no intention of reforming.
The above subject deliberately took advantage of the leniency of the law to continue to commit a series of thefts in Hanoi. She targeted street-front shops to steal phones, wallets, etc. when the sellers were not paying attention.
Le Thi Huong's group operates very sophisticatedly: They choose each district to steal for a period of time, and after "having a movement", they move to another district. In the past, this group has successively moved their "hunting" area from Cau Giay district to Ba Dinh, Hai Ba Trung, Dong Nai, etc.

Le Thi Huong and her accomplices always showed their faces when entering stores, even though they knew there were cameras inside ("super thief" Huong looked straight into the camera many times, but she still calmly acted).
Regarding the theft methods, the above group also outlined different "tricks" to apply.
As in late 2018, Huong was often taken to the store by a male accomplice, who then stood outside, allowing the female “super thief” to enter the store. Even though she was alone, Huong still successfully carried out many robberies, using a heat-resistant shirt as a cover (in one case, Huong took a wallet containing more than 30 million VND when there were… 3 people in the store).
But recently, Le Thi Huong's group changed tactics: A female accomplice carried her on a SH motorbike.Modewithout a license plate, and entered the store together. The other person would try to distract the employee by asking about different types of products, then block the view so Huong could reach out and steal.

In just the first few days of June 2019, with the above tricks, Huong and her accomplices successfully stole many expensive phones from stores in Hai Ba Trung and Dong Da districts, from iPhone 8 Plus, Samsung Note 8 to iPhone X. They are also a group of "omnivorous" thieves, because besides valuable assets, this group is willing to steal cheap items, or small change left in the victim's pocket.
Specifically, at noon on June 12, Le Thi Huong and her accomplices entered a store on Doi Can Street (Ba Dinh District) and stole a white 64GB iPhone X from Ms. Nguyen T.

On the evening of June 11, Huong and her accomplices entered a cosmetics store on Nguyen Phong Sac Street (Cau Giay District), stole an iPhone 8 Plus 64GB version, and a Maybelline mascara.
On the evening of June 13, Huong and her accomplices went to a cosmetics store in lane 87 Lang Ha (Dong Da district) and stole an iPhone 6 Plus.
On the evening of May 24, the group entered a cosmetics store in Bach Khoa ward (Hai Ba Trung district) and stole a Samsung Note 8 phone.
By noon on June 16, Hai Ba Trung District Police and Bach Khoa Ward Police had arrested Le Thi Huong, based on information from the public.
Upon hearing the news, many victims of the “super thief” Huong came forward to report and denounce his actions. Currently, the Criminal Police Department (Hai Ba Trung District Police, Hanoi) is investigating and expanding the investigation.
