North Korea and China find common interests on many important issues
The two leaders discussed a range of plans to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as touched on each country's “main domestic and foreign policies.”

North Korea's state news agency KCNA reported on June 22 that leader Kim Jong-un and Chinese President Xi Jinping reached consensus on "many important issues" and agreed to continue promoting bilateral friendly relations in the future.
According to KCNA, during a luncheon on June 21 - the last day of the Chinese President's visit to North Korea, the two leaders discussed a series of plans to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as touched on "major domestic and foreign policies" of each country.
In addition, leader Kim Jong-un and President Xi Jinping also exchanged views on domestic and international issues of mutual concern.
The above information from KCNA was released shortly after the Chinese President ended his visit to North Korea.
During their talks in Pyongyang on June 20, the two leaders agreed to strengthen bilateral relations for regional peace and stability. Both sides assessed that this was in line with the common interests of the two countries and would benefit the development of peace and stability in the region.
President Xi Jinping has reaffirmed Beijing's support for a "political solution" to Pyongyang's nuclear issue, while pledging to play a "positive and constructive" role in the denuclearization process on the Korean peninsula.
