SLNA defender Vo Ngoc Duc: 'I'm so unlucky!'
(Baonghean.vn) - Instead of wishing to move to another team to seek new challenges, Vo Ngoc Duc hopes to continue playing for his hometown team.
With only a few days left until the return of V.League 2019, Vo Ngoc Duc will certainly not be included in SLNA's squad list, as he has not recovered from his injury in time.
Recently, the player born in 1994 has been diligently training in SLNA's gym after returning from the PVF Center. At this time, Vo Ngoc Duc's torn knee ligament injury has recovered about 50%. This means that the left-back from Quynh Luu will have to miss the remainder of the 2019 season.
"I'm so unlucky! At the end of this season, my contract with SLNA will officially expire. With such a serious injury, I don't know if SLNA will keep me playing for the coming seasons. Honestly, I'm very worried about my future," Ngoc Duc shared.

Vo Ngoc Duc is in the same age group as Vo Ngoc Toan, Ho Phuc Tinh, Tran Van Tien, and Le Manh Dung at SLNA currently. With the 2019 season ending, these players will become free agents. Instead of hoping to move to another team to seek new challenges, Vo Ngoc Duc hopes to continue playing for his hometown team.
Vo Ngoc Duc's wish is entirely justified. Playing for SLNA is a tremendous honor for players who have come through the SLNA youth academy and for those born and raised in Nghe An province. Hopefully, the SLNA management will give Vo Ngoc Duc the opportunity to stay and play at Vinh Stadium in the coming seasons.

Before his injury, Vo Ngoc Duc was a backup option for his senior teammate Tran Dinh Dong at left back. In total, Vo Ngoc Duc only played in 2 matches in the V.League 2019 (both from the bench). This was Vo Ngoc Duc's most disappointing season since his appearance in the SLNA first team (2014).
