Ngo Thanh Van stars in a film alongside Hollywood 'action star' Charlize Theron.
This is the second time the Vietnamese actress has participated in a project directly produced by Netflix, and she has the opportunity to act alongside Charlize Theron.

Deadline reports that Chiwetel Ejiofor, Harry Melling, and Ngo Thanh Van are the latest additions to The Old Guard, an action-fantasy film project produced by Netflix. The streaming platform has since confirmed the information.
Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, the director of Beyond the Lights, The Old Guard is currently being filmed at Pinewood Studios in London, England. The project has previously confirmed the participation of Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Luca Marinelli.
Based on the graphic novel series by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernández, The Old Guard follows a group of immortal mercenaries who fight together after discovering a new immortal and their abilities being exposed to the public.
The Old Guard marks the second time Ngo Thanh Van has participated in a project directly produced by Netflix. Back in 2017, she appeared in Bright alongside Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. That film was also an action-fantasy movie, and Ngo Thanh Van played a small villainous role in it.
The Old Guard has not yet revealed the exact roles that the new actors will play in the film. Therefore, viewers will have to wait for further information or the trailer to find out about the Vietnamese actress's role in the project.
Besides the two Netflix-produced films, Ngo Thanh Van also played supporting roles in two other Hollywood-produced films: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2 (2016) and the blockbuster Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017).
