Candidates in Nghe An burst into tears in front of the school gate because they were late and were not allowed into the exam room.
(Baonghean.vn) - Although the exam regulations have been announced, this morning at the exam sites, there were still candidates who arrived late and had to miss the 2019 National High School Exam.
This unfortunate incident happened in the very first exam at Huynh Thuc Khang High School. Accordingly, a candidate who was a former student at Nguyen Truong To High School was not allowed to enter the exam room because he was 30 minutes late.

In front of the school gate, although he is a man, this candidate still shed tears and said: “Last night I went to my aunt’s house to sleep and fell asleep, and only arrived at the exam site at 8:10. The invigilators said that candidates who arrive 15 minutes after the exam papers are distributed will not be allowed to take the exam. I know I was late, but I don’t know if I will be allowed to take the exam again tomorrow.”
Regarding this case, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the National High School Examination Steering Committee of the province said: According to the National High School Examination Regulations, Literature is one of the three compulsory subjects for graduation recognition. Therefore, if candidates miss this exam, they will not have the opportunity to graduate this school year.

This is truly an unfortunate case because earlier yesterday, when coming to do the procedures, the candidates were reminded very carefully by the invigilators about the exam time as well as the regulations in the National High School Exam Regulations.
