The G20 Summit is a high-level forum of executive leaders of 19 developed countries, EU leaders, some international financial entities such as IMF, WB..., and leaders of some emerging economies. Within the framework of the conference, there are also conferences of related ministers. The G20 is very important in the global economy. The G20 economies account for 2/3 of the global population, are located on half of the earth's land area, produce 90% of the world's total product and 80% of international trade transactions related to these economies.

The G20 is the largest summit ever hosted by Japan, and is especially meaningful for the host country as it is the first major international event since the new Reiwa era began.

Vietnam is one of the eight special guest countries of the host country Japan attending the 14th G20 Summit. In 2010, Vietnam participated in the G20 for the first time as ASEAN Chair. This demonstrates Vietnam's important position in world politics and the strong growth of Vietnam's economy, which has some impact on the global economy.

Being invited to attend the G20 Summit in Japan this time will help Vietnam speak up with emerging economies, contributing to solving common problems of the world economy, maintaining international economic order and trends, meeting the interests of all economies, and fighting against negative trends in the global economy./.
