The visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to the Kiev law enforcement agencies has led to a worsening of the situation along the entire border line in Donbass, - said Ruslan Yakubov, head of the Representative Office of the Donetsk People's Republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime.

“The situation along the entire border line is heating up every day. There is a constant escalation. The intensity and frequency of shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces on the Republic has increased several times over the past month,” Yakubov told journalists.

He noted that Zelensky's visits to the positions of the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies provoked a deterioration of the situation.

He noted that during the same period of Zelensky's arrival in Donbass, two civilians of the Republic were injured and 41 houses were damaged.
