A woman in Nghe An died while fighting a forest fire with her son.
(Baonghean.vn) - Information from the Nghe An Provincial Forest Protection Department said that this afternoon (June 30), while functional units and local people were trying to put out a forest fire in Nam Kim commune, one person died while fighting the fire.
The victim was Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoa, born in 1964, in Yen Vuc hamlet. At that time, Mrs. Hoa went in to put out a fire and gave water to her son to put out the fire in the forest that her family had planted in Khe Khe hamlet, Nam Kim commune.
During the process of extinguishing the fire, she was surrounded by fire and could not escape. People around tried to save her but because the fire was so strong, they could not save her.

After the victim died, the authorities and her family took Ms. Hoa home and buried her according to local customs.
