“We see the position of a politician in the form of a minister (Mr. Klimkin), who does not allow violating state interests, and the position, I must apologize, of an uneducated person, who allowed what the head of Ukrainian foreign policy could not do,” Mr. Aryev said in an interview with the magazine "New Era".

Earlier, Mr. Klimkin called the disagreement between himself and Zelensky over the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's reply to Moscow on the issue of the sailors "an emotional matter."

At the same time, Zelensky called for Klimkin to be disciplined because the Foreign Minister did not inform the president about the relevant note and did not agree with him on the answer.

Earlier, on June 26, the Russian Foreign Ministry sent a note to Kiev, outlining the possibilities for the release of sailors within the framework of Russian law. Mr. Klimkin refused to consider the proposed conditions.
